Northern Light Counseling is growing — and this is a really exciting time to join our team!
We are actively hiring school-based therapists, and we’re preparing for a major expansion with a brand-new outpatient clinic in Honesdale.
We offer opportunities for therapists to work in:
• School-Based Settings (current openings)
Provide counseling services directly within K–12 schools, collaborating with staff and families to support students in real time.
• Outpatient Clinic (upcoming openings)
Provide counseling in a traditional outpatient setting at our new Honesdale location, with opportunities to build and shape your caseload.
All clinicians are supported by our team and systems, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and sustainable workloads.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available depending on role and timing.
• Provide outpatient counseling services (school-based or clinic-based)
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and other providers
• Participate in case planning and clinical consultation
• Complete documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes)
• Maintain ethical and professional standards
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field
• Licensed in PA as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSW (clinical supervision available)
• Required PA clearances
• Experience or interest in working with children and adolescents
• Established partnerships with local school districts
• New and expanding outpatient presence in Honesdale
• Flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options
• Support with systems, billing, and operations
• Clinical supervision and opportunities for growth
